Met with approximately 4-5 individuals virtually over the course of 4 months (3 or 4 interview sessions).
At the completion of each interview session, there was no follow up from the company with regard to status of the application or next steps. Only after reaching out to the company directly multiple times asking for an update was I eventually sent an email stating the company was interested in a next series of interviews. After each series of interviews, there was no follow-up from the company without repeated requests for an update (at which point another interview was scheduled). After the last interview, again with no follow-up by the company after a few weeks, I submitted an email to the company again requesting the the status of my application. No response was provided.
General impression: Very poor communication and follow up practices for a small company. How a company manages its hiring process is often times very representative of the corporate culture a new hire will find once they join. Best to review your hiring practices.
