I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at AppFolio (San Diego, CA) in Oct 2019
Interview
HR reached out for an initial phone screen asking about work history, resume, and relevant skills.
Was followed up by two onsite interviews that included panel interviews and 1 on 1 interviews with multiple engineers.
The entire process was really accommodating and professional.

The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at AppFolio
Interview
Lengthy, 6+ rounds with one round lasting 2.5 hours. Overall slightly negative experience as I while I was treated well enough I wasn't given actionable feedback and even the recruiter seemed perplexed as to why I had not received an offer.
Thank you for your time and review. We work hard to ensure that each candidate receives the best possible experience, and will take your feedback into account for future interviews.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at AppFolio (Santa Barbara, CA)
Interview
The process moves quickly. They're determined to find quality people and give multiple chances for candidates to show the kind of work and thinking that they are capable of. My process was started with a phone call interview followed by an onsite interview with multiple members of the QA team. During my onsite I had many opportunities to ask questions, interact with members of the current team, and show what I was capable of.
