      Cellular Performance Engineer Interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Apple in Jan 2019

      Interview

Introductory phone call with internal recruiter was positive. Recruiter was very friendly and described the culture at the company. The next step was a technical interview with an engineer on the team. The questions were technically related, but based more in theory than practical application. Unfortunately, this engineer was surprisingly rude, and I'm not sure I would have joined this team had I moved on. I was given limited time to ask questions, to which the engineer gave vague responses, referring repeatedly to confidentiality. I felt no desire to follow up afterward.
