I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Apple (Cupertino, CA) in Feb 2020
Interview
• 1 minute introduction of my background
• He introduced the Apple Watch team
• Two parts of technical questions. First part is about mechanics of materials, second part is about manufacturing.
• Do I have any other questions?
Interview questions [2]
Question 1
• How would you decrease the deflection of a canter-lever beam?
Understanding your history and show interest in the prompts. Know the basics and you’ll do fine, understand why you’re there and why you want the job. If you try to BS it you’ll only cheat yourself.
The interview process for the Apple internship was structured and professional. It began with an introduction and a brief overview of the role, followed by questions about my background, projects, and interest in Apple. The interviewer focused on understanding my problem-solving approach, communication skills, and ability to work in a team. Some questions were behavioral, while others were based on my technical knowledge and past experience. Overall, the process felt organized, and the interviewer was respectful and engaging throughout.

Question 1
One question they asked me was: “Tell me about a time you worked on a challenging project and how you handled obstacles during the process.”
Was pretty hard, and the interviewer seemed quite rude. If you know all of your topics thoroughly and can do multiple examples, it might be easier for you. Study about the company and be prepared to ask questions that are thought provoking not simple ones
