I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Applied Silver (San Luis Obispo, CA)
Interview
Endless. Made you meet with every person one by one, separate coffee with each. Senior management though, I figure that was NOT an interview. It was a process of profiling me to see whether they can apply they labor trafficking techniques so they did. I satisfied their criteria (foreigner, different culture, easy to lie to , etc.)
Interview questions [2]
Question 1
Mostly unilateral communication. Questions about yourself but they could not care less about the answers. All they needed is to create the figure as IF they were interested on you to fool you.
They will send you in written things like "I forgot to ask where you grew up and how your family was and so". But these questions will never manifest in reality. They are just a method to fool you (Russell Bik, controller owner tactics). These type of questions and comments come along with assignment of work. They start assigning you work even before you start, because they intend not to pay you for what you do. They will even ask you put slides together before there is ever a legal agreement in place. It is all designed to take advantage.
