t took me nearly a week to prepare and required planning two days of office leave to attend the face-to-face interview rounds at the Pune office. All interview rounds went well, with two interviewers in each round, including the final round with the Director. Throughout the process, the hiring team expressed satisfaction with my performance, discussed salary expectations, and asked about my joining timeline, which naturally raised expectations.
However, it has now been more than a month, and I have not received any offer
This lack of follow-up after extensive in-person interviews reflects poorly on the candidate experience and raises concerns about process accountability. If there was no intent to proceed, it would have been both professional and respectful to communicate that decision in a timely manner instead of keeping candidates in prolonged uncertainty.
I strongly urge senior leadership and HR to review the interview and hiring practices of the Pune team and implement clear ownership, timelines, and communication standards. Calling candidates for multiple in-person rounds without closure wastes time, effort, and emotional investment, and ultimately damages the organization’s employer brand.
I hope this feedback is taken seriously and leads to concrete corrective actions.
