Interview
You have to answer many questions ranging from your knowledge of the company to your understanding of dairy as a whole, to also personal questions as to how you are a good fit for the dairy sector in relation to your hobbies, previous experience and abilities. Then there is another assessment centre after interviews where you will be interviewed for an hour on your interest in Arla, what you think a factory needs, what factory you want to work in and why, your 10 year plan and all the ways in which you want to change and develop Arla as an eventual leader. Even though this apprenticeship is open to beginners, you will also have to do a group activity that will test your knowledge of factory processes which is a bit unfair to be honest. The questions were tough. And they also quiz you based on a personality test that they will use to really dive deep into the possible weaknesses you will have.

Question 1
- What are the procedures in a factory - What do you know about Arla - Who are Arla's competition - Where do you want to work - Lots of question about their products and factory information. You need to know a lot about it because they ask many questions about these topics - They expect you to know the brand and foods inside out as well as the factory job. - What do you know about each location, their products - How do you relate to this job - What will you bring to Arla - What's your 5 year plan - How will you develop and bring new things to Arla -And, depending on your personality test result; they will quiz you on your supposed weaknesses as well as leadership skills so it can be a bit biased
Although they say they accept anyone to the fold, they do expect you to have an extremely high level of knowledge on their products, factories and food technology... It's kind of a shame.

Interview
Open, two way, challenging but enjoyable. Like the people I met, appreciated a tour of the building and lots of opportunity to ask my own questions. Quick feedback after the interview and an offer of consideration for another role.
