I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Asana in Dec 2017
Interview
One of the smoothest interview processes I went through. I had a busy semester so I wasn't able to do the coding challenge immediately – wasn't a problem for them, since they were flexible to move at a pace I felt comfortable at. Recruiters were very friendly, responsive, and transparent.
Another phone interview, where I didn't perfectly answer the design question but the interviewer helped walk me through improvements, which I greatly appreciated. Final round had 2 phone interviews plus another coding challenge. I was able to use what I learned in the first interview and apply it to my work for the final round design questions, which was pretty neat.
very standard oa - phone - onsite process except they dropped the ball a couple of times that made me miss the opportunity to have the final round of interview before roles were filled. Very disappointed

Question 1
leetcode style question, very standard. but I heard they have SD for final round which is both ridiculous and funny
I applied online. I interviewed at Asana (San Francisco, CA) in Feb 2025
Interview
Very straightforward process with a codesignal followed by a coding round, then an onsite with a system design then behavioral interview. Questions were leetcode focused but generally easy to find online

Question 1
There was a question about a very hungry rabbit, I'm sure you can find this one online
several interviews and all super difficult for an internship level. The expectations is that you are a very seasoned junior, not a student. Friendly interviewers but the technical components is quite challenging.
