I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Asana (New York, NY) in Oct 2022
Interview
They sent me a 3-question CodeSignal that was pretty easy (passed all three test cases within half the time allotted). The recruiter was out of the office for two weeks and there was a pause in communication. Then I was notified that there were no more spots available for the office I was interested in, but I communicated that I was willing to interview for other locations. From there, they took another week and a half to schedule a follow-up interview and would cycle me through recruiters to "reschedule" and give them new availabilities. I'd leave a few days open for interviews and then would get ghosted. The process would repeat, with another recruiter reaching out and asking me to schedule an interview. Eventually, after the last email asking me for new availabilities, they emailed me saying they ran out of positions available.

Recruiter call plus afterwards you get a call for a technical which is done somewhat asynchronously. After that you discuss the results of your code. From there you can either debug further or discuss design choices.

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Asana (Vancouver, BC) in Oct 2023
Interview
3 step process:
- CodeSignal OA (skipped since I already had perfect GCA score that I could share)
- 1 hour technical design focused interview
- 2.5 hour virtual onsite consisting of a 1 hr interview with leetcode style question and a design question again. Then, a "general" coding interview for 2 hours where the interviewer leaves and you code for like 70 minutes and then they come back to discuss your code
