I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Asurion (Augusta, GA) in Mar 2019
Interview
First, I received an email request for a phone interview with a recruiter from HR. The phone interview was short and simple. Questions consisted of how I would handle different customer service situations and how I keep up with rapid changes in technology. I was then told I would receive a call from the District Manager to set up an in-person interview.
I got the call from the District Manager five days after my phone interview (including a weekend). I was brought in that same week for the in-person interview at the Sprint store I would be working out of. District Manager was very professional, interview was semi-formal. She spent the first part of the interview explaining the culture at Asurion and their partnership with Sprint, details about the position, benefits, schedule, etc. Second part of interview consisted of questions about specific customer service experiences and tech-related experience.
After interview, I was told I would be contacted by HR after interviews concluded. I received a job offer the following week.
The most unprofessional company I’ve ever interview with in my life! The interview process at first seemed amazing and streamlined.
I sent in my app through indeed.com and Asurion sent me an email an hour later asking me to submit one on their official site. I did and received an email the next day asking me when I wanted to set up a phone interview. I scheduled the interview for the next day and it was a very short simple phone screen.
After we hung up, I received a phone call from them 10 minutes later and was asked if I wanted to move onto the next process which was a video interview with a hiring manager. I agreed and scheduled it for the next day.
Next day comes and I receive a text from Asurion saying the hiring manager couldn’t make it and to call them to reschedule. I do and the rep tells me they’ll give me a call next week since the hiring manager isn’t available to confirm a new date. Come next week I get a call that I missed asking to reschedule. I call back, no answer. Leave a voicemail. They call again the next day and I missed it because I’m in school. I call back not even 20 minutes later. No answer. I call them back a few more times through out the day, no answer. I can’t even leave a voicemail at this point because their inbox is full. I haven’t heard back from them in a week.
Ridiculously unprofessional company. Like seriously do you guys only have like 2 people working in HR? You guys can’t even clear your voicemails? NO ONE is there to answer a phone call through out the day? Ridiculous. Nice playing phone tag with you but I’m onto the next.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Asurion (Raleigh, NC) in Oct 2019
Interview
First a phone interview with a recruiter, then an interview with the District Manager. Both were engaging, both were personable and went with the flow of the conversation rather than going off a sheet of paper. Overall it was a great experience!
