I got interviewed online. It had multiple steps: 1. Small chat with the recruiter (30 mins.) 2. A meeting with the Design Manager (1 hour) 3. Portfolio deep dive with Senior Designer and Design Manager (1 hour) - I was able to choose the time slot for the interviews according to my availability. - They were responsive to my emails even though sometimes I had to wait for a couple of days. - They provide a small" how-to get ready for an online interview guide". I read some articles written by former and current designers of Atlassian in order to understand their company values and workflows better. I took some notes to emphasize those values that I believe that's aligned with my design principles. They expect a prepared presentation for the "portfolio deep dive in" interview. Prepare around 2 projects due to time constraints. Always take notes and take a deep breath. You might have to arrange your work because of timezone differences. The design manager lives in Sydney, and It was a very enlightening experience for me. After the 3rd step, I prepared questions and sent them via email. They were kind enough to arrange a meeting to provide me valuable feedback and answer my questions.
