Question 1
Recruiter round: Run through your experience Provide specific examples from your experience of how you managed a product from research to design to delivery in the last two years. Provide specific examples from your experience on interactions with designers and engineers. Hiring manager round: Launch an alarm clock for deaf people List improvements you may design on a non-tech product that exists in your home, prioritise these improvements
Screening, multiple interviews with different stakeholders, challenge with multiple people in attendance. quite detailed and in-depth. pretty straightforward. Negotiated offer before accepting. Process is quite long but not too frustrating as they keep you up to date.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Atlassian (Seattle, WA) in Aug 2025
Interview
Resume screening at Atlassian is not good as I got rejected and got in because I was able to get a hold of someone that is in the organization. So, unless you know someone getting a call from this company has slim chances.
The call with recruiter was very standard template oriented. After that I had a TPM screen where a peer interviewed me. Despite technical challenges, feedback was positive but they moved forward with other candidates. I felt like there was a lack of transparency in the process.
