I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at AudioStack
Interview
I first spoke with the recruiter, who sounded miserable and almost as if he wanted me to drop out. I went ahead anyway out of curiosity. He arranged an interview with the founder for 1 pm, just after lunch. When the founder joined he was 10 mins late, he seemed in a hurry to get it over with, sounded uninterested, and raised major red flags, especially when describing the company’s tech stack and how everything worked. Overall, it was possibly the worst interview experience I’ve ever had, and I’ve had quite a few.

Question 1
Tell me about your work, what technologies you did
The company up an initial call/interview - nobody attended the call.. I emailed following up / alerting the person I was scheduled to talk to and there was no response to that either.
Situations can change but not updating me before the call, or contacting me after the scheduled call (to explain why it was missed/nobody joined) is just a terrible way of doing things.

Question 1
Nobody joined the call.
No response to my follow up email asking about this either.
I was given a take home task and after spending an entire weekend doing it, the company didn't even bother to write feedback. Shame companies that do this. It is disgusting.
