I applied online. The process took 5 months. I interviewed at Avanade (New York, NY) in Oct 2018
Interview
The interview was quick and painless. I enjoyed meeting all the staff. There were several interviews. I believe I had about 5 of them in total.
I was given a verbal offer right before the holidays. I was ecstatic. I was told we would reconnect on January 7th. January 7th came and went. I followed up via email and via phone. I was clearly being ghosted. After a friend in the company emailed HR and I left a glass door review which I then deleted, I was contacted by the company HR rep and told the position was being pushed out until April. I called back since I had questions, I did not have my call returned. Now that April is approaching, I reached out again and my communications were not returned. I truly believe that companies need to take into account the time applicants spend coordinating, interviewing, thank you emails, following up and what huge disservice it is to treat them with no regard and not return their calls or emails. Imagine my surprise when I now see this position posted again. All I can say to avanade is to treat your prospective employees better and not waste the their time. There is no reason that someone cannot return a call or email with a logical answer or even a denial of the applicant. You should look into your HR practices as a whole. Everyone was very responsive and quick to make a move in the beginning and now nothing.

I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Avanade (Seattle, WA) in Apr 2022
Interview
The first call is with your recruiter who you remain with throughout the interview process. There are 4 calls total: one with your recruiter as a screening call to ensure you are applying for the right job for your skill level, etc, and three interviews that were all behavioral and example-based questioning. All the interviewers were very warm and conversational instead of interrogating or prodding.
My recruiter was going on leave about halfway through my interview process so IDK if that is why I didn't have the best luck in that category. They were not very responsive and took two or three tries from me reaching out before getting an answer. Overall the interview process was pleasant because of the delivery managers I was interviewed by, but my recruiting process wasn't great for the above-mentioned reason.
It took 3 months from my first interview to get an offer.
