I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Avanade (Houston, TX) in Sep 2011
Interview
After applying for the job, I got an email the next day saying they were interested in a 30 minute phone call with me within the next week. The call was very general. It was just questions regarding expected salary, if I would like to travel, a few generic situational questions, etc. It was a very basic call.
After this call, I got an email stating they would a technical interview with me as soon as they could find an interviewer. They scheduled one for a week later. The HR lady had told me more or less what they would cover and it was pretty much everything she said. The interviewer was really nice.
I received an email that my technical interview went great and was asked for an in person interview. They did the in person interview a week later. They brought 4 of us into a room and there were 4 other people in the room as well as one senior manager. We basically talked and did activities together and then the senior manager took us each out of the room for our personal interview. He was really nice as well and understood we were nervous.
I received a call about my offer around a week and a half later. The start date was actually a month and a half later. The whole process from beginning to my start date was around 3 months. I am really proud to work for this company.
