Avila Design interview questions

I was contacted through Linkedin about a position as an entry level architect, showed up for an interview 2 days later. I was administered a difficult AutoCAD exercise (emphasis on speed, and necessitating a strong understanding of program mechanics and commands), and presented my portfolio in a 30 minute 1:1 interview with the lead architect of the firm. I did not expect to hear back from them. Two weeks later I was emailed by the other partner of the firm, and had an hour long 1:1 interview which went very well. I was made an offer 2 days later, which I accepted. I came to work for my first day 3 days later, and before i began work, asked if would be able to instead start at the end of the summer, 3 months later. I subsequently asked for a higher salary than was offered, which they turned down my request and bid me farewell. I feel badly about about not being upfront about my needs as an employee, however they handled my indecisiveness with professionalism.

Skill test and review from assistant and then my pretension to hiring team and then director Q&A likes building code, construction details,.....they asked about my salary requirements but it was not in their range
