At first, it was really professional and the email and coordination was all quite good and straightforward. The position was remote, so I did a video zoom call with the hiring manager. The next 30 min were really not very smooth. She spoke over me and explained literally everything possible about the role. Then, after all the time was taken, she was like I'm surprised you don't have any questions about this role. And after I asked her if she had read or reviewed my portfolio she didn't answer directly and had nothing to refer to in terms of the 'writing' bits. I feel I would have not liked to work with her. She gave me the distinct impression of wanting a crony and acting like a crony herself.
