I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Aya Healthcare (San Diego, CA) in Dec 2021
Interview
Though it took quite some time for an internal recruiter to reach out after I submitted my application, the recruiter was friendly, professional, and informative. I had a phone screening with the recruiter a week after being contacted in which we discussed my motivations for applying to Aya and what I do in my current role. The recruiter explained the position with details relating to responsibilities and compensation, then I was contacted a week after to schedule a virtual interview with 4 people working in recruitment.
The interview began on time and the interviewers engaged with me about my past roles and how they would relate to the position I applied for. All interactions seemed positive, the interviewers seemed bubbly, and the interview lasted for about 45 minutes. When it was time for my questions, the interviewers put a lot of thought into their answers. I thought it was great that the direct supervisor for the role and their supervisor were present at the interview and could provide helpful insight (and allow for me to meet my potential team!). To prepare, it’s important to reflect on your past professional experiences and your goals (both personal and career-related). Being honest and open about these can allow the interviewers to see if your goals align with the company and the potential for growth in your role.
Excited to start working with Aya!

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Aya Healthcare in Nov 2024
Interview
The interview process I had with Aya Healthcare was by far one of the best I've experienced!
My recruiter was amazing. She thoroughly answered all my questions and was very responsive. On top of that she went through some interview prep and honest feedback with me as the interviews progressed. I felt so supported and set up for success by her!
The second interview with my potential Manager, Sr. Manager, and Director of the program was smooth and enjoyable. They thoroughly wanted to understand my experience, skill set, and why I was motivated for the job, and also gave positive feedback about my answers. They wanted to make sure I was interviewing them just as much as they were interviewing me to ensure we were the best fit for each other.
I received an offer letter the following evening! My recruiter called me to share the good news, congratulate, me, and answer any questions regarding the onboarding process. I'm so excited to start my new position with Ay!

Interview
It was a very brief phone call walk me through your resume. Person was not listening or cared. Immediately sent a email passing less than an hour later. Waste of time.
Thank you for your interest in Aya and for taking the time to share your feedback. We have shared your review with our talent acquisition leadership so they’re aware of your experience.
Smooth! Two phone interviews and one teams interview. Very personable and comfortable! The team was fun right off the bat! Alot of the questions were about past experience and how it would be different or the same in my current role.
