Deliberated whether to post this however was treated like a number with no regard and ghosted towards the end after all my time and research into the brand, on a third chase up I was told that I was unsuccessful -
A true example of poor recruitment practise
Job hunting and being out of work in a time like this can feel scary and nerve wracking, they made this worse for me, half offered me a job and I was told they wanted me to work on an FTC instead of permanent which I originally applied for, listed reasonings why, said a final conversation would be had as they were really impressed and wanted a final chat to seal this then they advertised the role to the public that was I under the impression was pretty much mine after few stages of interviews and half offering me the role - the hiring manager interviewed the market and then found someone else and ignored my calls until I finally left a voicemail after chasing 3 times. I feel like an option on the side whilst they find something better and held out my time making me relax in my job applications to then not offer me the role. Was told it was hybrid flexible due to my location which was clarified on the first call with talent manager, I double checked and was really careful to ask twice if this would be okay, then when I got to 3rd interview was told I needed to be in office twice a week no questions asked- on the first call I was told this was absolutely no issue and another person worked remote, also was told this was a 12 months contract, then it was lowered to 7 months - The advert put to the public was a lot lower than I was told too, feels like they are trying to find the best talent and lowball - They were very quick to get me in to Southampton asap for an interview but not very quick to let me know where I stood, it feels like recruitment do not communicate and information is thrown out then changed, really disappointed at how things were handled, respect should be a priority
