In person interview, was great didn't get the job though but a pleasant experience (altho the office was super busy at the time so that was slightly intimidating but nonetheless, was fine)
I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at BAFTA (London, England) in Feb 2025
Interview
They invited me to their office for an in-person interview about 2 weeks after sending my CV and cover letter. I was met by an incredibly friendly team and the whole process seemed organised. They had a separate room where one of the interviewers was in-person but the other 2 were remote on a screen, although this was done in a way that didn't make the interview feel any different. The interviewers were friendly and it felt more like a conversation than an interview. Overall, a good experience and swayed my decision towards accepting their job offer instead of that from a different company I received.

Question 1
How I would optimize video delivery from their server to their clients using their web video streaming platform to reduce server load.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at BAFTA in Jan 2025
Interview
Rather disorganized and rushed — had an interview booked, then a screening call was later booked for 2 days prior to the interview (making the interview only tentative after booking it). Screening went okay, but then there was a task to complete on the one day in between the screening and the interview (not particularly flexible). Then in the interview, I found the interactions rather cold and rushed, and I was surprised about the somewhat rude comments I received about my completion of the task (they said it was supposed to be up to my interpretation, and yet they made remarks about how I should’ve done various different things instead, even though it was an unpaid task to be completed in a short period). To top it all off, they got back to me a week late to inform me I was no longer being considered. Not the best process! I would have likely declined an offer if it was provided, as I didn’t get a good vibe regarding the people or culture.

Why I made a certain chart to visualize a data trend instead of another (the one they considered right or better).
