Simple interview with HR and future boss, done at the same time. Most of the questions were about my previous experience and my skills related to my future position. I didn’t notice any “tricky” questions.

Hiring process can take weeks after resume submittal. first step is a pre-screen phone interview with corporate HR. Then an on site interview. Interview team is a diversified panel of professionals, managers and Hr. They ask a series of situational based questions. After they complete the situation questions, the more technical or job specific questions come up.
Advise for interviewees, be honest they will check references and follow up on your answers.

Give me an example when you were in XXXXXXX situation, and how did you handle it.
This was a basic phone screening call with the recruiter . A lot of major companies do this as part of the process. The recruiter required you to answer some questions related to your background (i.e. educational, personal, achievements etc...) and character so she could send it to the hiring manager as part of your application. No technical questions whatsoever. I honestly think the phone screening was a major waste of both of our times. I’m glad it didn’t go through because BASF isn’t exactly a great of company to go into for in EHS even though they’ve been ramping up with the sustainability campaign as part of a huge PR and marketing initiative.
At first you go through hirevue where you do a one way interview. They ask questions and you do a video response. If Three like what they see they'll call for a face to fafe interview. Three people interviewing you. Very nice people. They'll call for a second interview if they want to move forward with you.
