I applied through a recruiter. The process took 8 weeks. I interviewed at BB&T in Jul 2015
Interview
Interview was fine. Not too hard. Typical interview questions. It took way too long for them to come to a decision. It does not take 8 weeks to hire someone. I am very disappointed in the speed of this process, especially since I was told I would have an answer within a couple of weeks. My recruiter never answers her phone and neither does the teller supervisor or the branch manager. If you wanted to say that I didn't get the job, don't make up excuses like you are interviewing more people or that the substitute recruiter is overwhelmed. The professional way would to just say "We have found someone else that has met our credentials". This is horrible interview etiquette , I am very disappointed and will not be applying for them in the future.
The interview was pretty easygoing, they asked very basic customer service questions along with some cash handling and sales questions. The interviewer who was the manager for the branch was nice and friendly.

Question 1
What are some past sales experience that you have?
Smooth and easy process. Interview questioned were standard. I had no issues getting a call back to be hired on immediately. I support this type of interview and hope they uphold this process going forward
Had 2 interviews, was told I would be offered the job, the branch manager ended up quitting. I had to follow up multiple times and was given an impromptu phone interview with zero warning - never heard back, was totally ghosted. Overall disorganized.
