I applied online. I interviewed at BDO (London, England)
Interview
Application is easy and straight forward. One round interview with one partner and senior manager. 45 mins interview. Technical questions with behavioral questions. Friendly interview. Received the outcome within 5 working days.
I had a first-round interview with HR and unfortunately it was a very poor experience. The interviewer appeared disengaged and seemed bored to be there. I was enthusiastic and made an effort to build rapport, but the dismissive tone made the interaction uncomfortable and off-putting.
Despite this, I sent a polite follow-up thank-you email (which went unanswered) and later reached out again for an update. I never received a response or any indication of the outcome. I understand the market is competitive, but basic courtesy and communication go a long way, especially for candidates who invest significant time and effort preparing for interviews. A lack of follow-up or feedback reflects poorly on the candidate experience and, frankly, on the role of HR itself.
2 stage interview, basic questions that are being asked everywhere.
After second interview they make the decision and you can negotiate salary etc.
Not a hard one to prepare for.
