Ghosted by both the HR partner and Tax partner after being took through all three stages of recruitment process, Easy Application, but being ghosted by both partners makes me wonder what it's like to work at BDO.

I applied for the “Associate - R&D Tax - Chemistry/Life science” position at BDO through a recruitment agency. After a week, I received an email from the recruitment agency with good news: “I will have an interview at BDO LLP* on Monday 14th Dec 2020 at 10:30am”. I therefore used my time to prepare for the interview since I was very interested in the position and in the company. Unfortunately, the day of the interview at 08:55am (less than 2 hours prior the supposed interview) I received a call from the recruitment agency telling me that BDO decided to cancel my interview (last minute) as they decided to move with other candidates. I did not even had the chance to prove why they should hire me and why I was interested in them. Very disappointed. Very unprofessional.
