    Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3+ weeks. I interviewed at BDP International (Philadelphia, PA) in January 2015.

    Interview

The process was very mutual in terms of me learning about the organization and culture, as well as the company learning more about me. They have a very professional process by which I as the candidate was given all of the details about benefits, policies and what to expect on day one. I also was provided with a really nice introduction about how the company came to be. This business is family owned and it gave a historical write-up of how it developed through the years.

    Interview Questions

    • Many of the questions that I was asked were to determine whether the culture of the company would be a good match for me and vice versa. everyone with whom I met was interested in knowing me as well as my capabilities. One thing that really impressed me was that I was asked about how I can infuse fun into the workplace. it was clear that people work hard, when you spend so much time with a company day today it's also important to enjoy what you do.   Answer Question
    • As with most interviews, I was asked about my work history, what I liked and my various roles, what I did not like and the reasons for the few work experiences that I have had throughout my career.   Answer Question
    • I was asked what I know about BDP international and why I wanted to join the company.   Answer Question

    Negotiation

The offer was competitive and confirmed for me that joining the company was in deed the right decision. I found the process to be very professionally handled, no gameplaying whatsoever.
