      Hirevue video recording. Maybe others aren't aware of this but most HR professionals should be. This is a convenient way to discriminate against applicants based on grounds of race/gender/whatever (religion if they are wearing religious garb) before someone even steps into the interview process. You're not saving time....you're going to have to go back to watch the video anyway. The process was dehumanizing where you can't speak to a person to ask questions about the role. You simply cannot trust AI to measure voice, body language, and facial recognition. Even if BHP isn't using the AI feature, HireVue could certainly be using the data it collects from recording the candidates to develop their algorithm.
