I applied for a Procurement position and passed the HR interview. I was then asked to provide my availability for an interview with the hiring manager. I shared a time slot, and HR said they would confirm.
After five days of silence, I followed up. Instead of receiving a confirmed interview time, I received a rejection email stating that they had changed the hiring criteria and would now only hire Czech nationals.
This means candidates are being filtered by nationality rather than experience or qualifications — and this change was made mid-process, without informing candidates who had already advanced.
This is extremely unprofessional. If hiring criteria can suddenly shift from skills and experience to nationality, and candidates are not even properly informed, it raises serious concerns about transparency and internal organization.
Based on this experience, I would advise candidates to be cautious.
