Bank Simpanan Nasional interview questions

I went through a multi-stage interview process with the company, including one physical interview and another conducted online. Both sessions were positive and engaging, and shortly after, I was asked to proceed with a medical check-up. However, after completing all required steps, there has been no clear progress or issuance of an offer letter, even after almost two months. I was later informed that the delay is due to a new product launch that has not yet been finalized, and that the offer would only be issued after the product is ready. Unfortunately, no definite timeline was provided, which made it difficult to manage expectations. From a candidate’s perspective, it would have been more professional to either: 1) Issue a formal offer first and allow the candidate to onboard while preparing for the new product, or 2) Conduct interviews only after the product launch is confirmed. Inviting candidates to complete multiple interview stages and even a medical check without clear readiness from the business side can be quite frustrating. Overall, the interview experience itself was positive, but the overall hiring process lacks transparency and proper timing.
