The initial interviews were engaging, well-organized, and the recruiter was highly responsive, with discussions that felt relevant to the role. But everything went downhill during the final interview with the CEO.
The CEO’s call was unprofessional and rushed. Mid-conversation, the call abruptly ended without explanation or any attempt at closure. This showed a blatant lack of respect for the time and effort I invested in the process. The professionalism displayed earlier in the process was clearly missing in the CEO’s handling of the final interview—a frustrating and disappointing experience.
After this, there was complete radio silence. No updates, no feedback—nothing. This was a slap in the face after months of commitment to the process.
Two months was far too long for a process that lacked basic communication and transparency. Delays are one thing, but prolonged silence without any information is unacceptable.
Save yourself the trouble. If this is how they communicate at the highest level, it’s best to look elsewhere.
