Interview
I had an interview with Baqend for the Data Analyst role on 22/12/2021. I want to share my experience for the people who will have an interview with the company in future.
There were CTO (Florian Bucklers), Team lead engineering (Sven Decken) and HR (Ben Deger) and I in the interview. During the whole interview, Team leader was laughing when I answered the questions. He texted some times to someone over his computer. I felt so uncomfortable for 45 minutes. If you block this time for the interview, should you focus on the interviewer or job? I understand for urgent topics you may need to react but funny topics shouldn't be the place and time. I believe it was disrespectful and I think it shows they don't respect their future co-worker.
I don`t understand why he behaved like this and also why his leader, CTO, didn’t stop him from doing that. Was the reason my gender or my nationality or my answers? Having such an interview in Hamburg at the end of the 2021 was a huge disappointment.
