They won't call you, you have to call them and even you may not hear anything from them. You must apply in person for a better chance. If you want the job keep on them, they do lose a lot of people after a few months seems like every 6months or so.

I was stuffed into a little office nook in the corner and waited around forever for the manager, once he came in and started asking questions, they all seemed like irrelevant questions

Simple and easy. I met with the store manager to interview and was told the same day that it went well and they wanted to hire me. They walked me through some steps to finish the process.
