I applied in-person. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Bath & Body Works in Sep 2011
Interview
It was a group interview consisting of 5 interviewees including myself and one interviewer. The interviewer was the co-manager of the particular store. The atmosphere of the interview was kind of laid-back, the interviewees sat in a semi-circle facing the interviewer. We were asked roughly 10 situation-based questions; there weren't any specific skill-related questions asked. Many of the answers to the questions relied on retail experience and customer service knowledge/expectations of employees. Two days after the interview I was called to schedule a day to watch a training video, do paperwork, take a tour, etc. Shortly after I began training.
