Baxter sought me out via LinkedIN. After hearing about the role, I was excited. Had three rounds of interviews that went very well. After that, they asked if I would put a category strategy together and present it at the last interview. I spent hours researching the category and preparing the powerpoint, as well as my delivery. I gave a 20 minute presentation with no feedback or questions at the end. I had to call them a week later to learn that they liked my strategy, but thought I talked fast and would not be a good presenter for senior leadership. Everything up until this they were very proactive. I think this last step is very time consuming for the candidate and providing no live feedback is unfair, given the time involved with preparation. Who knows, perhaps they used some of the category strategies recommended. Was not impressed.
