I applied through other source. I interviewed at Beeye in Feb 2026
Interview
I had an initial 30-minute interview with the CEO. The session was recorded and consisted entirely of high-level questions about my background and experience. There were zero technical questions asked during the entire conversation.
Following the interview, the process went completely dark for four weeks. Despite the initial interest, I received no updates during this time.
The Rejection:
The feedback provided was that my 3 years of Azure experience was "insufficient" for the role's technical requirements (specifically citing AKS and networking).
Cons:
Lack of Transparency: My years of experience were clearly stated on my resume and LinkedIn profile from the beginning. If 3 years was a disqualifying factor, I should not have been invited to interview.
Poor Assessment: It is impossible to gauge a candidate's "technical depth" or "hands-on experience" when no technical questions are asked during the interview.
Communication Gap: A four-week silence after a first-round interview is unprofessional and keeps candidates in the dark unnecessarily.
Advice to Management:
Review candidate resumes against your "minimum tenure" requirements before scheduling interviews to save everyone's time. Additionally, if you plan to reject based on technical depth, you should actually conduct a technical interview to validate those skills rather than making assumptions based on a resume.

Interview
I was contacted by Adrien, the co-founder of Beeye. He gave me a call and asked me a bunch of introductory questions for the position. They were looking for one developer to have ownership over the entirety of the front-end of the app. They gave me a technical test on a friday and asked for the completed product on the Monday. I had it completed by then so it was no issue. The instructions were only in French.
