Mostly practical questions regarding manufacturing and science involved with. I was nervous so I do not feel like I answered questions fluently.
I got an question about some analytical technique, which I answered with most up-to-date instrument. However, interviwer did not look happy that I did not say some other technique (which also can be used). I did feel that their questions and instruments they ask about are unusual from other similar roles I interviewed with other companies.
I got a feeling that they want an exact person who knows everything real well and can do all the experiments alone without any break-in period to a new place. I do not think it would be easy for them to get such a person easily, especially considering the location and salary range.
