I was sent an email asking for an e-test, specifically mentioning that every action on the browser is being saved. I guess that's a protection against using a GPT for help.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Almost all the problems were, given a situation what could be deduced. For example, given a inheritance graph of several classes, and a function that takes in two arguments of these classes, and also some samples of the function, what can be deduced? Can they be of the same class or do they have to be different etc.
In the same vein, given 3 db tables with specific structure, how many reads to the db needed to determine the first purchase made by a user? How about the second purchase? By reading only the two tables, can we deduce average purchases made per country?
Last one was about a code (in a pseudo language) and to deduce: is it an increasing function if the values increase after a value? What does it return at a given integer? How many times does the loop inside run?
The interview process was very smooth, though a bit long. Everyone I interviewed with was very friendly, and you could tell how excited they were about working at Bending Spoons - that was actually one for the reasons I accepted the offer.
I am still on 3rd stage, I have cleared 2 assessments. I dont know what to expect from the interview or how many more stages there are but from what I have heard , I guess atleast 2-3 interviews
