Benefitalign interview questions

Most unprofessional interview ever attended. I applied thought a jobs site and HR called, scheduled an interview. HR follow ups were very prompt and good. But the interviewer doesnt show on the scheduled date and the interview rescheduled. On the recheduled date, the interviewer was 20 minutes late and we started the interview in a very un-professional manner. I say this because, they asked me to turn on the video and both HR and the interviewer were not showing the video. So I was like talking to the wall, I couldnt make eye contact and couldnt see the mood of the other guys. This is the most un-professional official video conference I ever attended. Anyway, I couldnt answer most of the questions as the questions were on datastructures and algorithm and I didnt know how to answer them :). The next was my favourite. How to improve the performance of a low performing code. I tried to eplain, remove unwanted iterations, replace list with hashtable or dictionary kind of stuff. But the interviewer had some answer in mind and he was hesitate to change that. I suppose he had a prepared questions and next question was depended on the answer. And finally, the interviewer said, my profile doesnt match with what they are doing in their company and said they are using some technologies which were never mentioned in JD and I do not have expertise with . So it ended there.

Their whole process is botched up. You share your expected CTC to any company at the very first and when they are comfortable then they proceed. In my case, i gave 2 technical and 1 managerial round followed by HR. Finally i was selected and the offer released was no where close to what i asked for. Complete waste of individual time and effort. Extremely unprofessional.
