I interviewed at Benevity in June 2024 and the whole process took a month. Interview process consisted of 3 stages:
1) recruiter
2) behavioural questions / culture fit (be prepared to answer questions using STAR method)
3) portfolio review (be prepared to show one of your projects and talk about your design decisions)

Question 1
Tell me about a project where you found user pain point and how you approached it.
45min screener, followed by stakeholder interviews. Great mission-driven company. The pay is far below market rate for the job level, and wasn’t disclosed with the posting as the law requires, so that felt sneaky and was not a good use of anyone’s time.
