Question 1
Why do you think you would be a good candidate for this position?
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Best Bath Systems (Kuna, ID) in Apr 2016
Interview
Phone interview with HR, followed by phone interview with hiring manager, followed by interview with peer team. When I'm interviewing a company I pay particular attention to follow through on any commitments made. HR phone interview was a thorough review of company history, culture, and future plans. The phone interview with the hiring manager was more procedural and, from my end, a good rapport was established. Commitment was made to a face to face and I should expect a call within 24 hrs. In fact, it was made several days later when I followed-up. The face to face was not with hiring manager as indicated but his office staff which suggested a decision about selection had already been made. I was greeted nicely, but simply pointed to the door after a short interview of panel driven questions. As I was signing out overheard comments and laughter that were not of a "close and supportive" nature that had been touted as the culture, and do not expect to go further in the process.
