I applied through other source. I interviewed at Better Stack in Apr 2025
Interview
Absolute nightmare if I'm honest. Should have read some of the other reviews on here first (or the infamous Reddit thread)!
Time consuming process and awkward brain-teaser questions in the technical interview (with people that struggle to speak fluent English). Thankfully I didn't get to the next round, which would have been using PHP and Bootstrap!
My final interview feedback was my database knowledge was good, but my security knowledge wasn't great, even though I answered most of them correctly!
I would avoid this company at all costs. Their hiring process is completely broken. You could have been a successful full stack engineer for 10+ years with proven experience, but fail to know how often you should refresh a CSRF token. Embarrassing!
