BetterDoctor interview questions

I was contacted by their in-house recruiter through Angel.co's A-List. The first step was a roughly 30 minute phone screen. During this call we discussed the state of company, the expectations of the role, and my competencies and abilities. At the conclusion of the call, he said he would send me a coding challenge to complete over the next week. The challenge was implementing a search engine for their API. It required me to write a Node server to interface with their API, specifically to search for doctors by name. I also had to write a frontend in React with a typeahead search input. Upon submitting the completed challenge, he responded quickly that the team was reviewing the submission. After two weeks without contact, I sent a followup email asking for feedback or to proceed with the next steps, but the position had already been filled.

After telling they were interested on me, the HR guy didn't show up to the interviews TWICE. After finally showing up (late, ofc), the interviewer had only 10 mins for me, where he asked me to do a coding challenge without supervision. After doing it and submitting it, I didn't get any feedback for two weeks, so I asked. The HR guy ignored me, so I told him again the next week. Surprise, he kept ignoring my emails. 4 weeks after, I send a last email and he answered with a very brief: Sorry we got someone else.
