I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Big Ass Fans (Lexington-Fayette, KY)
Interview
Three interview steps:
1.) Video interview by yourself that you submit to them...30 seconds per question (about 4 questions) where they ask you random Q's like "sell us the closest item to you". It was somewhat bizarre but unique.
2.) Phone interview with a person in HR and sales manager. They gave a run down of the position and asked basic interview questions such as "why Big A** Fans?".
3.) In person interview with 2-5 employees and managers at Big A** Fans. Went over my resume and asked more questions about why I wanted to work there, etc.
Although all three interviews went well, I surprisingly did not get an offer. I believe this to be because I just moved to Lexington, KY from California and they want their new reps to travel all over the nation for infrequent amounts of time. I never told them I wasn't interested in traveling but I am assuming some interviewer bias came into play in regards to my situation.
Very lengthy, a strange online interview where you're filmed but not speaking to anyone directly. It was really off-putting.
Strange questions like tell us what makes you weird? Like ma'am you don't know me, why does that make a difference?
Video interview is a bit confusing. You star the online interview process where you have 5 questions to answer one after another. The fist question pops up on the screen and you have 1 minute to prepare, then you start recording your answer and then you move to the next question and so on.
