1st round of interview, a screening call with recruiter, lasted 45 minutes and was thorough and open.
Progressed to an in person interview with the Director of Strategy in person at their office in Ormeau which lasted an hour.
During the face to face interview, one of the questions asked of me was "How would you protect the business" which raised a flag.
During the same interview, I asked how the business had approached some of the less than positive reviews it had received on Glassdoor and Google, with the caveat that these reviews were read with a grain of salt, but nonetheless an important question to ask from someone who might be leading the HR function. The response was that these were "disgruntled employees" and to not read into it.
Over a week later, a generic email was received saying my application for the role was not being considered further. When asked for feedback, none was provided.
Anyone who has taken the time and effort to prepare and attend an in-person interview should at the very minimum be called and provided feedback, as opposed to a generic email saying you're unsuccessful and the business is unable to give specific feedback.
