Red flags with the hiring process. The process will only keep you waiting.
I applied on their career website. I received an email from HR that they and the hiring manager were very impressed with my profile. I was told that hiring manager is on business trip so I have to wait for couple of weeks the next step of the hiring process. I asked the HR if there’s something we can do while waiting, like initial talk with recruiter, but insisted to wait for the hiring manager. Few days after the hiring manager came back to officer, I didn’t receive any update so I asked for an update but didn’t received any respond. I made couple of follow-ups with 2 weeks interval only to receive an auto-generated rejection response.
***If you can say that you’re impressed with candidate’s profile, why let them wait for weeks or even months, don’t respond to follow-up and at the end reject the application?
