I applied through college or university. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at BlackRock (Philadelphia, PA) in Nov 2017
Interview
The position is also called Technology Summer Analyst. Overall a very easy process. I was recruiting mostly for product management positions in big tech companies and I sense I was given the offer because I seemed super techy and especially into fintech. BlackRock is trying to be more innovative and techy so they were bedazzled by my background despite it not being standout in real tech. Both interviews (one skype interview and one super day in NYC) were largely conversational and fit questions. I was called the day after my super day with an offer.
Interview went well, just a bunch of behavioral questions and asked to walk through some hypothetical scenarios of helping a client. I interviewed a few days ago and he said I would be hearing back soon, but have heard nothing yet. How long does it usually take to hear back?

Question 1
Why Blackrock? Tell me about a time you had to explain a complex concept in simple terms to a customer.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at BlackRock in Mar 2022
Interview
Had first interview 2 months ago and there was no follow up from the recruiter, even when I have sent an email asking to follow up. Not even sure if I was even rejected, could have sent me an email if so and I would gracefully accept the rejection.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at BlackRock (London, England) in Jan 2022
Interview
Started with hireview style interview questions, followed by round 1 interviews, round 2 interviews + numerical ability test and then final round interviews.
It was professional but still slightly informal though that may have been due to covid times.
