I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at BlackRock (San Francisco, CA) in Nov 2015
Interview
First round online video interview for 30 minutes - very fast and impersonal. First question was how many assets under management does BlackRock have.
I was called for a second round interview 2 days before I had to fly across the country- not ideal and they were not flexible. The communication with HR was not fast and they didn't provide much information. Cancelled the 'breakfast' portion of the day the same morning.
The people on the team I interviewed were great- clearly very intelligent and kind. I never got a response from the company- even after reaching out to people.
