There were (4) separate interviews: (2) video calls and (2) in-person interviews. After the final one, I received an automated message informing me they were pursuing other candidates. I did not receive a response to my request for feedback upon receiving the rejection letter.
It was mentioned multiple times that candidates are hired for their personalities instead of experience. Management would like to maintain a positive workplace environment, so the purpose of interviewing is to understand a person's vibe and to learn how they'll contribute to the company culture. My interviewers genuinely seemed to enjoy working at the company.
The company uses a screening process called Topgrading, which is a questionnaire that focuses on employment history, including references, and workplace tendencies and ambitions. I was asked to take the survey following my first virtual interview. It took roughly 20-30 minutes to complete. Be prepared to list references and elaborate on past responsibilities and job descriptions.
Overall, the interview process was pleasant, however the lack of response following the conclusion was disappointing.
