The job listing said it was a Graphic Designer position and they ask you to bring in a print portfolio in 2020 where online portfolios are completely acceptable. The designers that interview seem inexperienced and unprofessional. They talked badly about their boss and how work can be a drag right in front of me. The interview had many awkward silences and dead responses. During the interview they said that it was actually a Junior Designer position and that you would need to come in and work on the weekends when no one else would be in the office. None of this was listed on the job posting. They are taking advantage of young designers and wasting their time and using the title “junior designer” as an excuse to pay them less.
They are also working in a small crowded office with no circulation and no social distancing during COVID-19. If you ask them about their covid precautions, they will assume you are not willing to commit to the job and do not care about your safety as an employee. How can you claim to be a wellness brand but not prioritize the wellness of your employees? Terrible company. Do not work for them nor support them.
