The interview was an hour long. Questions were
asked around compentencies. I was then brought out onto the floor to interact with customers and demonstrate product knowledge. Overall, it was pleasent, good interview.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Boots (London, England) in Jul 2016
Interview
Interview lasted approximately 20 minutes all conducted in back office. No shop floor or promoting a product as advised I would have to do. Exceptionally friendly interviewer who put me at ease straight away. Genuinely interested in why I applied. She took notes the whole time but did not ask for any proof of identity. Very relaxed interview. Advised I had answered questions very well and she had enjoyed talking to me explaining I would hear soon but she was interviewing for the next two days at least and to re apply if I was not successful. Was called exactly a week later offering me the job for hours I wanted - accepted
Other questions were how are you a team player, describe a time when you have used your initiative to overcome a tricky situation - can't remember anymore but there quite a few.
In person, lasted under an hour, friendly conversation, standard questions about experience, education, motivation for applying. In person, lasted under an hour, friendly conversation, standard questions about experience, education, motivation for applying.
