First round was with HR. Second involved a take-home assignment converting PennyLane code to Qiskit and vice versa, followed by an in-depth technical discussion on the implementation and design choices and resume
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at BosonQ Psi (Bengaluru) in Apr 2024
Interview
"Low Balled after everything"
I recently went through the interview process. I was upfront about my salary expectations and explicitly confirmed if I fit in their budget and was told they were within budget.
The process involved:
An initial HR screening.
A technical interview with a 3-4 person panel.
A 2-3 day technical task.
A final round with the whole core team and investors.
I invested a lot of time and effort, including two full days on the technical task and several hours in interviews. In the end, the offer I received was much lower than expected and didn’t match our initial discussions. For future candidates, I hope the company ensures the salary range is clear from the start to avoid any confusion or wasted effort.
Respect the time and effort of all candidates.
Time is a valuable asset for everyone involved, and it’s essential that it’s respected equally. It’s not just the company’s time that’s precious, but the candidates as well.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at BosonQ Psi (Bengaluru)
